Privacy Policy

Account data: email address, display name, account type, and the profile details you choose to add (biography, links, genres, organization).

Content data: manuscripts, versions, files, loglines, synopses, and pricing you enter.

Activity data: listing views, saves, access requests and their decisions, purchase and refund records, and notification preferences.

Visibility is yours to set. Private work is visible only to you. Publisher-search work is visible to verified publishers. Public listings show only the fields you have marked shareable. Full manuscripts are released to a publisher only after you approve an access request, and access can be revoked.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe and never reach Scripttopia servers. We store the resulting purchase, membership, refund, and payout records needed to run the marketplace and meet tax obligations.

We send account, access-request, purchase, and billing notifications. You control which categories arrive by email in your notification preferences; essential security and billing messages always send.

Data is stored in our managed cloud database with per-row access rules, and files live in private storage reachable only through short-lived signed links. Manuscript versions are fingerprinted with SHA-256 so changes are provable.

Delete a listing at any time and it stops being served. Closing your account removes your profile and listings; purchase, payout, and refund records are kept as long as financial and tax rules require.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Requests can be made from the account page. See also the Terms of Service.
